Seraphinite stone belongs to Chlorite Group of minerals. This type of stone is commonly colored deep forest green to green-black with silver-colored inclusions of Mica. The Mica inclusions display a chatoyancy, giving Seraphinite a wavery sheen. The stone is also found in yellow, red, brown, tan or white colors. This type of stone is formed through the metamorphic and hydrothermal alterations of magnesium silicate minerals and other iron. The stone crystallizes in the form of granular masses and also referred to as tabular crystals. The stone is considered as wonderful healing stone. Seraphinite is popularly known as an Angel Stone as this stone shows a attractive display of light and color. It is believed that the stone helps to contact angels and communicate with them. Seraphinite can be very protective of the heart when it is used over the heart chakra.
