The
principal element that is present in the mineral stones of Golden
Rutile is Titanium. Golden Rutile stones are considered as major
gemstones in the market. The specimen of golden routiles form their
own unique and beautiful patterns. These quartzes are glassy,
transparent and clear. These quartzes/stones are used as
semi-precious stones and/or for carvings. Due to excessive pressure
and temperature, these stones are produced. The two compound forms
which are present inside each of the quartz are n(SiO
2)
and n(TiO
2) respectively. Under high pressure and
temperature, these two are present in stable form. The luster of
these gemstones varies from intense degree to moderate degree. The
crystalline quartzes are transparent, but non-crystalline forms of
these stones are usually opaque. The refractive Index of these
stones is 2.63 that gives these high sparkles that is even higher
than diamond. They are mainly found in South Africa, Brazil, Minas
Gerias, Arkansas, Some African countries, U.S.A etc.
